Nick Cave Tour 2025
Nick Cave tour 2025 announced: Nearly a year after the release of their joint album Carnage, Nick Cave and Warren Ellis will embark on their first North American tour as a duo next year.
The 17-date tour kicks off March 1 at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville, North Carolina. Following shows in Texas, California, New York and elsewhere, Cave and Ellis will play two nights at Montreal's Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in early April.
This is not the first time the two have toured together. Ellis joined the Bad Seeds in 1993, first as a part-time string instrument and then as a full-time band member. His role grew steadily, and he has landed several theatrical productions with Cave, including the upcoming film Blonde about Marilyn Monroe. Carnage is their first studio album as a duo, and as a duo this will be their first North American tour.
The two have worked together since 1993, when Ellis filled in on violin on Let Love In, the eighth studio album by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Ellis later joined the band as a permanent member.
Their collaboration has evolved through their own albums, records with the Bad Seeds and various film and television scores. But in all that time, Warren and Ellis have never taken the stage as a duo for a full North American tour.
In September, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds released the unreleased song "Earthlings," and followed up with "B-Sides & Rarities Part II" in October. Cave is currently working on his memoir and is playing the role of H.G. Wells in the new Benedict Cumberbatch film The Electric Life of Louis Wain. Nick Cave 2025 tickets.
